Director of Camping
Anglesea Baptist Camping is very happy to be supporting the Uniting Church in the running of this site. The Uniting church still owns the site with the Baptist Church have leased the facility. We have an office in town separate to the Camp which does all bookings and administration for the site. Having Burnside Camp gives us great flexibility to run ministry camps and reach a greater variety of groups
This is a fantastic site so different from our others in that it is very close to town but is surrounded by natural bush. The site is set up for catering or self catering for groups during the year. Takes up to 100 campers in 16 rooms.
Our aim is to show Gods love through all that we do and provide an environment where people can be challenged by the many outdoor adventure experiences that the area has to offer, or simply relax in a peaceful setting, surrounded by nature and a variety of wildlife.
We have been developing the camp over the last few years and you would be impressed by what has been completed at the site. Our major change is to have management on site to run the day to day operations and look after the needs of the groups that come. Peter and Marianne (Pruckner) Caulfield and family are excited to work with all groups, to meet your needs and to make your stay one of the best experiences of your life. Peter is very experienced with many years of working with young people, and can help you with any of your questions on programming or run some programming sessions for you. Marianne works in our Anglesea Baptist Camping office off site looking after the bookings for the camp.
I can highly recommend the team at Burnside Camp and guarantee that you will have a great experience at the site.
